The Godmersham Project is a joint venture between Archaeology in Europe and EMAS, the University of London Extra-Mural Archaeological Society.
The aims of the project are:
1. to promote archaeological fieldwork in the parish of Godmersham and to coordinate and archive the results of such work
2. to provide on-line resources for fieldwork such as historic maps, aerial photos, etc.
3. to ensure that the results of this fieldwork are published on the Internet and therefore freely available to other field workers as soon as possible
4. to provide an on-line forum for debates concerning the archaeology of Godmersham
